Coming Home

Here I am looking out a window on the plane that took me home from Grandma's. I hate leaving my Grandma. She's the best grandma in the whole world. But I do get to get on another plane in a couple weeks to see ... MY DADDY! The army is giving him time off for a vacation (the army calls it "leave") and we are going to meet him in "Jolly Old" for family vacation. I can't wait! But I do miss my grandma.

I love my Grandma! I like to take naps with her cuz she always keeps me warm and cozy while I sleep. We fell asleep watching the TV in this photo. I don't remember what we were watching, just cuddling up with grandma!

Talking to Daddy

I'm talking with my daddy on Skype! It's fun to see daddy on the screen. I wish I could hug him, but this is better than not getting to see him. Mommy gives me extra hugs until I can get daddy hugs. He's kinda blurry, but that's cuz he moves a lot. I can wait until I get to see my daddy for real. I'm gonna give him a really big, long hug. I love you, daddy!

Christmas

It's that time of year! I love Christmas. Not just because Santa Claus come, but also because I get to visit my Grandma. I love my Grandma. I'm getting all my holiday sweaters out to pack for my trip to see Grandma. My mommy put snow around me. Isn't it cool? Haaaahaaaaahaaaa! That's funny. Snow. Cool. Get it? My daddy picked the sweater I'm wearing. I talked to him on Skype and he said this was the best sweater. He can't be here for Christmas, so I'm glad he picked my sweater. Do you go anywhere for Christmas?

Photo booth

This is kinda fun. Sitting in a little booth on a stool while you look at yourself in a mirror. A red light flashes and, pow, a bright flash. Then it happens again and again and again. Then you go out of the booth and your pictures are in a little slot. Way cool! I'm just not sure what the pictures are for? Do you?

Happy Thanksgiving

I'm thankful for my mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa and all my friends. I hope everyone you love is able to spend this holiday with you. If they can't, then I hope you spend this holiday with them in your hearts.

Film 101

Hospital

This picture was taken when my mom was in the hospital. It was scary cuz my daddy's in the army and wasn't home cuz he was doing army stuff. I went to help her so she wouldn't be by herself. I hugged her the whole time except when she had to go in the bathroom. She had to have an emergency operation and was there for 4 days! I was glad when we got to go home. I could take care of her better there.

Since I'm home schooled you'd think I'd get out of being forced into a school photo. Nope! Not at my house with a mother who studied photography, graphics and film in art school. My dad is a cinematographer for independent films when not a soldier. So it is REQUIRED that I sit in front of the camera. This is this years school photo shot by my mom. Not exactly like the other kids pictures.

Serving the Country

When I grow up I'm going to be an army man just like my dad and grandpas. Until then I'll just help my dad like I am here! If anyone tells you that the big bags the soldiers where on their backs is small and light, they aren't telling the truth! This bag is a semi-truck and I'm a Fiat! I bet you know who'd win in that collision!

Safety First

It's important to note that on any adventure safety is a must. Whenever I travel, wether it be by car or airplane, it's important to fasten your seat belt and to keep it fastened for the duration of the ride or flight.
Here I'm sitting on my Dad's lap on my way to visit my friend Rocket, a Minuteman missile who stands guard at my favorite military installation.

Frappaccino

Who says a little guy like me can't enjoy a frosty frapp at Starbucks? You just have to remember not to drink it too fast. Brain freeze is really painful! But I was really hot and needed this cool drink after playing all day. My mom might get mad at me for wearing my shoes while on the table, but oh well. I like playing cowboy or Army? What's your favorite thing to play?

Hi! I'm Buddy! I'm a boy. Lots of people mistake me for a bear. I kinda look like one, but I'm just a regular ordinary little guy. I like cars (especially red ones), airplanes, my grandma, shoes. When I grow up I'm going to be a cowboy, an astronaut, a general, a pilot and a billionaire.
