A new sweater

I've been sad. I miss my Daddy a lot. He was gonna come home last month but got another tour.

To cheer me up, my Mommy made me this sweater. She also made me a new scarf and a blanket for my bed.

I like my sweater a lot, but I still miss my Daddy.

Talking to Daddy

I'm talking with my daddy on Skype! It's fun to see daddy on the screen. I wish I could hug him, but this is better than not getting to see him. Mommy gives me extra hugs until I can get daddy hugs. He's kinda blurry, but that's cuz he moves a lot. I can wait until I get to see my daddy for real. I'm gonna give him a really big, long hug. I love you, daddy!

Christmas

It's that time of year! I love Christmas. Not just because Santa Claus come, but also because I get to visit my Grandma. I love my Grandma. I'm getting all my holiday sweaters out to pack for my trip to see Grandma. My mommy put snow around me. Isn't it cool? Haaaahaaaaahaaaa! That's funny. Snow. Cool. Get it? My daddy picked the sweater I'm wearing. I talked to him on Skype and he said this was the best sweater. He can't be here for Christmas, so I'm glad he picked my sweater. Do you go anywhere for Christmas?

I'm thankful for my mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa and all my friends. I hope everyone you love is able to spend this holiday with you. If they can't, then I hope you spend this holiday with them in your hearts.

Hospital

This picture was taken when my mom was in the hospital. It was scary cuz my daddy's in the army and wasn't home cuz he was doing army stuff. I went to help her so she wouldn't be by herself. I hugged her the whole time except when she had to go in the bathroom. She had to have an emergency operation and was there for 4 days! I was glad when we got to go home. I could take care of her better there.

Serving the Country

When I grow up I'm going to be an army man just like my dad and grandpas. Until then I'll just help my dad like I am here! If anyone tells you that the big bags the soldiers where on their backs is small and light, they aren't telling the truth! This bag is a semi-truck and I'm a Fiat! I bet you know who'd win in that collision!
